Editmamei now has a cloud option alongside the desktop app. Editmamei Connect is a remote MCP server that does the editing in the cloud, so you add it to Claude as a connector and edit photos from claude.ai, the Claude desktop app, the Claude app on your phone, or Claude Code, with no editor to install and nothing to set up on your computer.
Edit from wherever you are
Add a photo to the chat, from your camera roll or your laptop, describe the edit the way you’d brief another editor, and the finished photo comes back as a download link that lasts 24 hours. Claude checks each result in a preview before it hands it over, so you see what changed without opening anything else.
What it can do
Cleanup is the everyday part: remove an object by naming it, heal dust spots and small blemishes, and fix brightness and color. For portraits there’s a portrait-mode background blur, light skin smoothing that keeps some texture, and a new sky from a second photo. Looks go on in one step, cinematic, black and white or a warm look for social posts, and a look you like can be saved and used again on the next photo.
If you sell online, Connect puts a product on pure white or a soft studio backdrop, cuts it out as a transparent PNG, shows the same item in other colors as separate downloads, and checks the photo against Amazon, Etsy, Shopify and eBay image guidelines before you upload it.
And for posting: crops for each platform, a wide photo split into carousel slides that join up when you swipe, story frames with the caption kept clear of the app’s buttons, photo grids, memes and stickers. Any of the product, look, story and sticker edits can run over up to ten photos at once while you do something else.
Getting started
Sign up at connect.editmamei.com with your email address. Accounts are approved one at a time while Connect is new, and every account starts with 150 free credits, which pay for editing time on the server, plus up to 50 more each month. When you need more, there are credit packs from $7 and monthly plans from $10. The setup page walks you through adding Connect to Claude, and the tools page has prompts to try on your first photo.
If you’d rather have the edit in Photoshop as layers you can keep working on, the desktop app is still the one for that, and nothing about it changes.
